Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Kellie Martin is most well-known for her performance as the main character in The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Born to a department-store buyer and a kindergarten teacher Martin was able to begin her acting career in the age of seven when her aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's children, was able to help her get an appearance in the series of 1982 'Father Murphy'. Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed significant roles both on the smaller and large screen. Martin as well as being an excellent dancer and actress, is also a successful ballet photographer. Her sister, who died of Lupus at the age of 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
